🌼 Celebration of International Midwives Day 2026 🌼
On 5 May 2026, International Midwives Day 2026 was celebrated successfully at Amjad Khan Chowdhury Nursing College with due dignity and a festive atmosphere.
🔷 Theme of the Year: “One Million More Midwives”

The program began with a colorful rally in which students and faculty members enthusiastically participated. The formal celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony marking the significance of the day.
Later, a discussion session was arranged where the respected Principal, Vice Principal, distinguished guests, and the honorable R.M.O. Sir of Amjad Khan Chowdhury Memorial Hospital, along with other notable personalities, were present.

In their speeches, the speakers highlighted the importance of producing skilled and well-trained midwives and emphasized the immense contribution of midwives in ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and newborns.
It was expressed that such arrangements will inspire the development of more skilled, compassionate, and dedicated midwives in the future.
